I first met Val and Joe, and their two lovely/crazy dogs in November 2016. Instantly I knew we would all get on, and that this couple had a spark. During our first meeting, it was brought to my attention that this wouldn't be a traditional wedding - I loved it immediately!
The wedding would instead have a Christmas theme - which made sense given the time of year - and the guests would all be wearing their very best Christmas jumpers, with the Bride and Groom as a pseudo-Mr and Mrs Claus.
Their ceremony took place on December 10th 2016 - it was simple and beautiful. Held at Poole Register Office , with the reception taking place a short stroll away at The King Charles Pub just off Poole Quay.
Every wedding is special, but this one has just nudged it for me, what with the quirky humour that ran throughout the whole day. If you're planning a non-traditional wedding yourself, get in touch...I'm up for the challenge.
I'm meeting with the newlywed couple on Friday to finalise their wedding package, I can't wait to see them again and here some stories of their honeymoon. I've updated my wedding portfolio with a selection of images from their day, and the online gallery is now live.
Here are a few of my favourites from their wedding.
Until next time,
